Q Is this resource for experienced preachers or complete beginners?

A Both!  There are three ‘Preliminary’ sessions for complete beginners who have no theological training which teach how to exegete (or examine) a passage of Scripture.  Then there are nine sessions for experienced preachers which include things like sharpening your stories and illustrations, fine tuning your delivery and getting a better response from your congregation.  With the likes of Paul Windsor, Murray Robertson, Mick Duncan and Geoff New providing the DVD input there is plenty of challenging material for any experienced NZ preacher.

Q Do you do it on your own or with a group?

A You could use this material on your own, but there is a lot more to be gained from the dynamic of doing it in a group.  If you have no lay preachers in your congregation and no-one interested in learning to preach, this material would work equally well with a small group of other ministers.

Q Can I buy the book on its own?

A The book (ie. Participant Guide) only makes sense with the Leader’s Guide and DVD alongside.  The book has questions that help you unpack what you heard on the DVD.  Thus we sell the whole kit first, then after that you can purchase as many more Participant Guides as you like.
