Stephen Worsley

One Step Ahead Worship was created and written by Steve Worsley.  The material was collated over a period of 11 years(!) and draws on letters, articles and the writings of top authors from around the world on corporate worship.  This course, which became available in November 2006, grew out of Steve’s own struggles in ministry: as a Worship Pastor at Otumoetai Baptist, Tauranga, Steve was unable to find any materials with which to train worship leaders.
 
Steve Worsley, MMus, BD, is a professional musician turned pastor.  Combining postgraduate study in both music and theology, he brings fresh and practical insight to the role of worship leader.  He has been a worship pastor and is now a senior pastor in Baptist churches in New Zealand.
